This is a broad role which includes elements of internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, analysis of margins and profitability within the monthly accounts, balance sheet review including key ratio analysis and development of Oracle reporting including improvements in finance functionality. The ideal candidate will be an ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified Accountant with strong commercial and analytical skills. You will have experience of internal audit/Sarbanes-Oxley controls and have ideally have experience of working with Oracle and Navision. Chilworth Partnership has been engaged by our client to recruit an interim Business Analyst/Systems Accountant to undertake a short term assignment for approximately 2 months. The role will involve downloading data from a number of databases in to MS Access to enable the data to be manipulated and analysed whilst installing a more comprehensive controls framework. Key skills will include excellent database skills; the ability to manipulate date in Access is essential. An accounting background/qualification would be a preference in order to be able to implement processes and controls.
