Group Finance Director: a high calibre Group Finance Director is required to take responsibility for group-wide financial and organisational governance, for Nelsons, Europe’s longest established manufacturer and worldwide exporter of homeopathic products. The Group Finance Director will join the Board of Directors at the Surrey head office, with group-wide responsibility for the operating companies throughout the world. The Group Finance Director will also act as a Business Partner to the Chairman and COO, and be pivotal in delivering the ongoing success of the group of companies during an exciting period of change following board approval of an ambitious strategic plan. The Group Finance Director is responsible for a team of 23 FTE’s covering the functions of Finance, IT and Legal. Key challenges in the role include: leading the implementation of an ERP system which enhances the business operational effectiveness whilst not adversely impacting day-to-day operations during implementation; leading the Finance function as it develops integrated finance systems driving continual improvement to production of management information to assist with informed decision-making; further developing the organisation governance structure to support the growth of the business into different international trading locations; ensuring strong trademark and patent protection for the company’s new and emerging products so we can successfully defend the value of the brands and products we own....
