Duties and Responsibilities: develop existing controls and procedures alongside FD to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances; ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards; recommend financial and commercial changes that will improve the company's financial performance; present weekly cash flow review and forecast; support FD with ad hoc project work; oversee sales ledger and payment processor reconciliation processes; management of growing Finance team; assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Skills/Attributes Required: fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA); previous experience in a similar position; sound and up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP and international financial reporting standards; experience of managing staff within accounts department; excellent Excel skills; strong communication skills.
