There are increasing investment opportunities in UK onshore wind farms and FIM has built up considerable expertise to take advantage of this. Six consented sites have been acquired for clients, with FIM raising the debt and equity and managing the construction process through to commissioning and now the operation of the wind farms. 42MW are now operational with a further 10MW in construction. The expertise to implement these transactions has been established in-house. Role description As a result we have an opening for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial and analytical person to join our renewable team. FIM currently manages a £300 million portfolio of sustainable forestry plantations and renewable energy generating assets, comprising 55,000 hectares of commercial forestry and five operating wind farms, with a further one under construction. FIM urgently requires an Investment Analyst to assist in developing the renewable energy business by providing analysis of investment opportunities. In addition, the candidate will be expected to provide due diligence support and other activities related to the purchase, construction and operations of wind farms.
