3 years ago Pure Health and Fitness had one health club in one country. By the end of 2012, we will have 60 clubs in 7 countries. This is remarkable growth, and we need a remarkable Group Financial Controller to help us meet the challenges this brings. Based, in Warsaw, Poland, Pure Health and Fitness is an award winning business, offering affordable high quality health clubs across Central and Eastern Europe. We are also launching clubs in Turkey and Asia. We have an immediate need for a Group Financial Controller, who can support the Group FD through a focus on management and statutory accounts, financial control and managing the Finance team. You will also liaise with our investors and key stakeholders who are based in the UK. Working closely with our Head of Financial Planning and Reporting, our Chief Accountant and Finance teams based overseas, this is a very hands-on role and key responsibilities will include: monthly management reporting to Business Managers; managing the month end close process for CEE companies and branches; expense control and reviews; managing the Finance team; providing a 'value added' service to and partnering with Business Managers; improving the provision and use of financial data within the business.
