The business requires a high calibre individual who can help drive, influence and manage the team and contribute to the continued success of the business. The important part of this role is not just compiling the numbers but the analysis and recommendations behind them, the successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a gravitas that will allow them to build relationships with and influence senior finance colleagues in Scotland. The role will include but not be limited to: responsible for the monthly management accounts for Hart Builders, Cruden Homes East and Joint Venture Companies; preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly financial accounts and annual financial statements and liaising with Auditors; consolidation of subsidiary and joint ventures; project appraisals and cash flows; company cash flows - short and long-term; project management of IT projects and current IT systems. Manage support issues; manage a busy department of 2 Assistant Accountants and 3 Accounts Assistants; annual budget and quarterly re-forecast preparation, monitoring and variance analysis.
