Our client, a well established Engineering organisation requires an Assistant Financial Controller to joining its well established team. Candidates must be at the least CIMA/ACCA part-qualified with the desire to complete their qualifications. This role assists the FC and requires some limited travel to the three Scotland based sites. It requires a self-starter and an Accountant who has previously worked in a Project based environment. Duties will include: preparation and analysis of monthly reports, including WIP, Orderbook, open PO's; assisting in the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close; reporting and monitoring of projects and long-term contracts; monthly forecasting.
