This Group Risk & Control Manager role has arisen due to internal promotion within Devro Plc, a global supplier of casings to the international meat industry. The role of Group Risk & Control Manager focuses on providing risk, control and financial support to the business. The role is a key part of the group Finance team and will involve working closely with multiple parts of the business and the Group Finance Director. Based in Scotland, there will be travel to various sites across the world. Travel component expected to be about 30%. The following will constitute the key responsibilities of this role: produce audit plans on a regular basis that clearly demonstrates the audit activity required to ensure the areas of most significant risk to the business are being monitored. Establish and maintain a regular programme of monitoring to ensure that the business has effective controls in relation to said risks; develop, coordinate and manage highly effective relationships with all key audit stakeholders.
