I am currently recruiting a Head of Internal Audit on an interim basis for a large Charity based in Birmingham. As Head of Internal Audit you will lead a small team of qualified Auditors to ensure the delivery of a high quality service to internal users. Key focus to include: regular audits of high risk activities, reporting to the audit committee; production of audit plans and coordination of risk reviews; ensuring a robust self-assessment system for risk analysis is in place for Business Managers. You will be CCAB or MIIA qualified, with significant experience with operational audit and risk assessment. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.
