Senior Accountant/Practice Manager: /EXC Gemini Accountancy is a rapidly growing accountancy Practice based in Sutton Coldfield. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant. The firm has a growing and expanding client base and offer a stable and friendly working environment. The role will support the firms Director by taking responsibility for the following: management of a small team of staff; responsibility for a portfolio of clients; managing all jobs from start to finish; preparation of accounts for limited companies, private partnerships and sole traders; preparation of personal and corporation tax returns (with review by Tax Manager); preparation of quarterly VAT returns; preparation of management accounts; liaising and meeting with clients to provide advice on their financial and taxation affairs; providing training and support to the team as required. The role will suit an experienced Practice Accountant, either ACA/ACCA qualified however consideration will be given to outstanding candidates who have come from a similar background. We are looking for someone with experience of managing client relationships and the ability to demonstrate effective client facing skills, a team player with a good work ethic and personality, who will be able to train and support the team and work on their own initiative.
