The role: /EXC We have an opportunity for an experienced and professionally qualified Accountant to join our Munich office to manage the Finance function for the German business. The Finance Director will ensure the delivery of accurate local statutory reporting, management reporting and that appropriate finance processes are in place to effectively support the business and track against the business plan. The role will include the following responsibilities: project accounting monitoring and reporting; preparation of annual budget and interim forecasting processes; preparation of monthly rolling forecast; cash planning, cash forecast reporting and cash optimisation; manage sales billings and credit control; liaise with Auditors, tax authorities, Legal Advisors, External Accountant and banks; support M&A activities; manage the Germany monthly payroll; provision of financial analysis, review and approve ROI on business cases; control the balance sheet and reconciliations; ownership of financial systems and compliance with group policy; define and maintain internal controls and efficient financial processes.
