My client is a multinational conglomerate with annual revenues of $2.5 billion and growing 30% annually. The newly created position of Financial Services Sector CFO is a highly visible role partnering with Sector EVP to use the Auto Financing Business (thousands of customers with hundreds of millions Loan Book as a base to both triple that business as well as use it as a ‘springboard’ into other Financing Services nationwide in other industries beginning with Commercial (Trucks) & Buses. Key driver roles in: financing; hedging; insurance; risk management; product development & underwriting support; financial reporting; internal control; policies/procedures; consolidations; all attendant analysis; internal & External Auditor liaison; insurance; legal & special projects such as potential M&A & JVs; business spin offs; reorganisations; shared services set-up; developing and implementing financing (conventional; securitisation; Sukuk; term etc); legal approaches to ensure Financial Services Group growth is financed; structured and managed in an optimal; risk controlled fashion and in line with overall Parent Group business financing strategies as well as all legal requirements; liaise with the internal and external stakeholders including Business Heads, Government agencies, suppliers, lawyers, insurance companies, Consultants & Advisors, Internal & External Auditors.
