We are looking for a Recharge Accountant to join our Accounts department. Within the role you will ensure that all recharges are posted correctly in the accounting system and reflect the current position of all of the companies. Key Accountabilities: collate financial information for management account reporting; post and reconcile financial data using accounting software; assist with all functions of the accounts department if required and assist where possible with other parts of the business if required; balance sheet reconciliations; recharge costs accurately to the group companies including accruals and prepayments; provide insight to Company Accountants on monthly costs; ensure salaries postings are accurate (including pensions); ensure allocations of costs is accurate and justifiable. Experience Knowledge Skills Required: bookkeeping experience required; good working knowledge of Excel; computer and keyboard skills; self-motivated; ability to concentrate in an open office environment; ability to work to tight deadlines; good accuracy skills; ability to communicate with non-financially minded staff; good problem solving and investigative qualities; good communication skills; good organisational skills; time keeping; effective team participation and assistance skills.

The individual will be involved in testing invoice production and any other part of the credit control system as required & will own the test plan for invoicing & ensure that all areas are completed as required & that other staff assisting are aware of the testing which is required each day. The part-qualified Accountant will be responsible for: balance sheet reconciliation; profit and loss account; trial balance; variance analysis; accruals and prepayments; budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and will ideally be part-qualified in either CIMA or ACCA. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents. A competitive salary of up to £28,000 per annum is on offer of the successful candidate as well as a clear path to progression.
