A large Engineering group of companies is currently looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant in a key role within its Central Finance team near to Bournemouth. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is largely accounting and treasury based, looking after the group company accounting, payroll, banking and treasury. You will be responsible for filings with companies house, HMRC, statutory accounting for group and liaising with the individual Company FDs. Key duties will include daily cash reporting, weekly cash forecasting, monthly accounts for two companies using Sage, statutory accounting for the group, tax, VAT & payroll for the group and monthly FX (dollar) forecasting and hedging plan.
