A part-time Accountant is required to work in a small Accountancy Practice. It is expected that this position will last 12 weeks (3 months) and work will equate to 2.5 days, although there is flexibility on how these hours are spread throughout the week. Candidates who are qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience will all be considered. Duties: preparation of accounts for clients – usually sole traders, SMEs and ltd companies up to £0.5m t/o; tax calculations (corporation and personal)/completion of CT600s; some incomplete records work; bookkeeping; good working knowledge of Excel essential.
