An excellent opportunity has arisen at Norbert Dentressangle Transport Services for a Financial Controller to join our team in Northampton. The purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the financial accounts, and develop strong business partnering with Operational and Commercial teams. To develop a strong finance team which adds value to the organisation through involvement in decision making and performance reporting. Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to: review and improve the accuracy of the weekly costings process; lead the budget process from an operational partnership aspect; be involved in any significant new business/re tender/Capex proposals; produce and manage the reporting of accounts via the Financial Management system, ensuring the data provided is accurate and completed in line with the company deadlines; develop and review current procedures to ensure effective and efficient management of the company’s finances; work closely with the Management team in order to develop and improve current reporting procedures; monthly review of depot results and balance sheet, involvement in monthly review process with operations.
