We are looking for an Assistant Tax Accountant to join our Finance team in Bristol. The Assistant Tax Accountant provides support to the Tax Manager in tax analysis and returns as well as assisting and advising the Finance function throughout the group. Your responsibilities will include: assisting in the coordination of all group tax affairs (Corporate tax, Income taxes, VAT, IPT and other relevant taxes) and being first point of contact for tax related queries from the business; analysing and collating information required for the group PAYE Settlement Agreement and Corporation Tax computations; preparation of quarterly VAT and IPT returns for review by the Tax Manager; maintaining balance sheet account reconciliations and tax procedures documentation; assisting the Tax Manager in preparing and delivering in-house tax training material; ad hoc analysis and project work as required.
