Due to the recent relocation their head office function, Saica is looking to establish a new Finance Shared Service Centre that will operate as the hub of all UK and Ireland Finance functions. The Greenfield centre will support all three operating divisions of Saica with a group turnover in excess of £1.8bn and UK turnover £500m, linking into regional finance staff based in over 20 sites across the UK. Responsibilities will include: assisting in the preparation of monthly HQ accounts, VAT returns and payroll uploads and reconciliation; assisting in the preparation of month end journals and maintain reconciliations on all HQ balance sheet accounts; supporting SSC staff with SAP technical issues and training on systems, managing one bill postings and single employee cost centre databases and performing monthly clear down of intercompany balances in SAP to ensure full reconciliation of accounts. You will need have excellent SAP knowledge and ideally be part-qualified CIMA or equivalent, however applications will be considered for candidates without formal qualifications if you have demonstrable experience.
