Reporting directly to the Managing Director our client, one of the UK's largest wholesalers is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller. Your main purpose will be to manage the Finance function with the support of the Accounts department ensuring that all deadlines are met. Your main responsibilities will include: management of 2/3 individuals within the accounts department; to manage year end audit; prepare monthly management accounts and statutory accounts; complete quarterly VAT returns; preparation of monthly payroll; purchasing foreign currency; responsible for ensuring that the necessary reports are completed in due time; work with the Accounts team to reduce overdue debtors; other duties that may be required.
