Reporting to the Global Head of Pensions, you will manage the financial aspects of the UK Pension arrangements with assets of c£16bn and 110,000 members from a corporate perspective. This is a key role in which your main objectives will be to develop the establishment of a corporate perspective on a UK defined benefit investment strategy and risk reduction; consult with the Trustees to agree upon an investment and derisking strategy to meet stakeholder needs; advise the UK regulation department with regard to recovering pension costs in regulatory reviews; and play a major role in the 2013 DB scheme valuations. An expert in your field, you'll work with colleagues in a range of Corporate functions in support of your role and you'll be relied on to deliver a first class level of guidance. Educated to degree level with specific qualifications in a relevant financial discipline eg CFA, Treasury, Actuary or Accountant, you will have extensive knowledge of UK occupational pension schemes and financial management together with, ideally, relevant legislation and regulations.
