Job description
This £multibillion employer of choice has recently carried out a survey in which over 90% of the employees said they really enjoyed working for the company. Presently recruiting a key Accounts Payables Manager role in its Bedfordshire location, you will look after in excess of 12 staff and remote management of offshore teams in combination with the Offshore Partner. The role acts as the main interface between AP and the internal/external customers, promoting collaborative team-working, promoting improved ways of working, ensuring compliance with company policy, maintaining integrity of the ledgers, influencing contracts with suppliers to maximise cash flow, ensuring early settlement discounts are achieved, leading the staff development process and assist in strategic aims. The candidate for this role would need to show top leadership qualities, a passionate approach to work with strong work ethic, experience with a large FTSE 250 company and experience with AP team management. It is a significant opportunity to work for a great organisation and requires a candidate near the top of their profession, within the AP Manager discipline.
