Job description
This is a high profile business in the Financial Services sector, renowned around the world with a high profile both in the City and the rest of the UK. The Finance team is a highly successful and well-respected group with a highly reputable image amongst their peers. This is a high profile opportunity within the team and requires an individual that can hold their own in a professional setting. This position involves a variety of financial accounting and analysis that will allow a real insight into the contribution that Finance makes to the operations of the Bank. The role entails but is not limited to: producing management accounts and regular reports to the bank’s subsidiaries; own some of the general ledger accounts ensuring the balances are robust; producing analysis and assisting the team with reporting outputs. This is an opportunity that will expose you to the Senior Management team, the legal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant preferably from a Top 10 Practice firm with sound knowledge of IFRS, preparing accounts experience and robust analytical and overview process. Financial Services experience is not a prerequisite for this role.
