Job description
Our client, a global Property Consultancy, is recruiting for a qualified Accountant to join its Corporate Real Estate function to deal with the accounting of a key client’s corporate portfolio. The company has a presence in every major continent and is chosen globally by major international organisations to manage their corporate portfolios. The role will report to the Head of Client Accounting and be responsible for service delivery to the Portfolio Account Manager and will entail: acting as the key contact for client on all accounting matters and proactively managing and delivering accounting services to the client; forecasting variations and identifying, investigating and commenting on variances at the earliest opportunity; developing and owning Client Portfolio Metrics; supporting of AP, AR & Cashier operational resources to deliver required services to proactively manage and protect income; monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reporting of CRE costs & revenue including provisioning; annual coordination and consolidation of budgets and latest forecasts and monthly reforecasting; monthly and quarterly tax reports; coordination and preparation of service charge budgets and year end reconciliations oversight of data collation between Estates & FM teams and identifying variances for review and discussion. To apply you will be a qualified Accountant and will be the key contact between the company and the client and will therefore will need to possess sound technical knowledge and the ability communicate with both accounting and non-accounting staff of varying levels and manage remote and shared service AP/AR and Cashier resources. For this reason you will ideally have experience in collating and assessing information and reporting; previous experience of staff supervision and coordination is highly desirable.
