Employer Covenant Accountant

The business supports 500,000 people across the UK and overseas and pays out more than £400m in pension benefits a year. Due to their continued expansion rpmi currently has an opportunity for an Employer Covenant Accountant.

The Role:
  • Employer Solvency Monitoring; assessing the ability and willingness of employers to fund the trustee pension schemes.
  • Employer Covenant Type A Event Assessments; obtaining information direct from employers and liaising with Company Directors where a corporate event meets the Pensions Regulator’s definition of a Type A event as per its current clearance guidance.
  • Third Party Product Creation; providing the framework for offering the covenant monitoring service to third party clients.
The Person:
  • Has the ability to influence at all levels within the organisation's hierarchy and to achieve the desired results.
  • Will ideally possess a professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA).
  • You will have a good working knowledge of, pension scheme accounting and company accounting and taxation.
