Job description
A truly unique opportunity has arisen for a Site Accountant for a large European Manufacturer in Yorkshire. You will be responsible for the management of 4 in accounts and will be reporting to the FC. Responsible for costings and new product analysis, fast-paced weekly reporting, supervising all ledgers, all budget processes, rolling forecasts, and handling monthly cash flow. A very all-round role that will give you true exposure to the site and the operational staff and production plant. Long term opportunities to step up to the FC role is on offer after 12-18 months and makes this company a great option for a Site/Management Accountant to take their career to the next stage. To be successful for this role you will be: qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA; confident in presenting to non-finance professionals including production staff; experience in the manufacturing sector; responsible for weekly reporting; supervised the entire ledger and the people that coordinate it; managed budgets and forecasts; managed small teams. You will be progressive naturally, inquisitive and have a real desire to find system and process improvements within your role and company and evidences and competencies will be questioned around this.
