Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant to join our client, a leading investment management organisation based in Edinburgh. Key responsibilities of the qualified Accountant will include: provide regulatory reporting for the business as usual team to ensure delivery of a project; preparation of FSA regulatory returns; completion of monthly capital information and annual reports & accounts of capital required data; ensure full compliance and fully aware of all regulatory developments & provide advice/support to divisions on the preparation of information provided for transactional returns and transactional advice; assist in testing of group reporting system to ensure regulatory returns can still be produced. The ideal qualified Accountant will possess the following skills: fully qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA); previous Regulatory Reporting experience within a Financial Services organisation; previous settlements experience within the Financial Services experience; previous experience of assisting with the testing process of a new group reporting process.
