Job description
Eden Scott's client, a private sector client, has a requirement for an Accountant/Finance Manager on an interim basis to assist in the year end and to assist with the ongoing ERP implementation. Essential to this role, is being a professionally qualified Accountant. Your duties will include: assist with the preparation and reporting of Group Financials (both UK GAAP and IFRS), management accounts, forecasting and budgeting; assist with preparation for the Group’s year end statutory financial audits (both UK GAAP and IFRS); systems (electronic and manual) alterations to merge with IFRS transition; assist with ongoing implementation and development of new ERP system; internal audit, working on recommendations flowing from recent audit reports; assist with preparation and submission of Board and Audit Committee papers; staff management/supervision within finance department, as appropriate; compliance awareness/experience, including PAYE, VAT etc. You will have a proven track record in a ‘group’ finance department, be strong in Excel and MS Dynamics AX (or similar) and to have experience of transition to IFRS would be beneficial.
