Eden Scott’s highly successful Accountancy client is looking for an Accountant to join their vibrant team. They are looking for a candidate to join their Glasgow office. The organisation in question is looking for a candidate who has a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards their work, they also need to have strong communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and deal with clients in an effective and professional manner. The successful candidate will also need to be logical within their work and have attention to detail. The Accountant position will require the successful candidate to work as a team for reviewing year end accounts, be involved in the preparation of sole trader and business accounts, liaise with outside agencies regarding the outsourcing of accounts. They will also have to review account files, deal with client enquiries efficiently and effectively and attend client meetings when relevant. The Accountant position also requires the successful candidate to be customer focused and strive to exceed their customer's expectations. They should also be able to work effectively and establish their priorities and tasks in a manner which will help them Manager their time efficiently. The successful candidate should be able to maximise available resources and anticipate any problems, operational or otherwise, with these resources. The ideal candidate should also have the following skills and experience; they should have experience in accountancy and in tax, first class communication skills, and excellent problem solving skills with a can-do attitude. As this position require the successful applicant to work in both a team and individually it is important that they are comfortable building, developing and nurturing relationships with both colleagues and with those outside the business.
