Job description
Our client a multi-site FMCG is looking to hire an all-round Accountant. The purpose of this role is to provide regional financial expertise and value-add support. Duties will include: prepare management accounts to include value add commentary and variance analysis; capital investment appraisal; working closely with the non-finance community to set budgets, forecast and to review results; management and motivation of 1 member of staff (Trainee Accountant); constant process and system improvement; project work and ad hoc board presentations. To be considered, you will need to: be ideally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA); have relevant, broad accounting experience; have excellent communication skills; have advanced IT skill ideally including SAP.
