Job description
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accountant to join a global business within its Italian HQ in Naples. This is a permanent role, relocation and travel will be supported for anyone needing it. This is a very interesting business (English is their first language) and this being one of their fastest growing regions, is a great opportunity to make an impact in a global business. Reporting directly to the Country Controller, you will take full responsibility for all aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and control, AP and AR and all other aspects of a busy financial reporting role. Key responsibilities: full responsibility for financial accounting, statutory accounting, GL, VAT/Tax, banking and all related Finance duties; responsible for establishing and maintaining finance best practice within the region; full responsibility and accountable for P&L; responsible for all forecasting, budgeting and support to senior management in delivering budgeted profit for the year; business analysis for all new & existing contracts/commercial developments. You will be a fully or part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience in financial and management accounting. You will be very ambitious and driven and keen to make a difference within a fast-paced environment. You must speak fluent Italian. A genuinely brilliant role for an ambitious Accountant/Controller keen to gain experience in an exciting business.
