Job description

My client, a publishing company, is looking for a part qualified accountant to join their busy finance team. This is a brand new role and will sit within a team of eight. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, the role will involve: Assisting in budgeting and reporting of results Producing regular reports and statistics on a weekly and monthly basis Providing financial analysis to clients Overseeing invoicing Assisting other members of the finance team with a range of ad hoc duties The role will involve liaising with clients, account management and other departments, so successful candidates will be confident communicators. The role will involve some supervision of staff, so any management experience would be desirable, but is not essential. Suitable candidates will be studying CIMA or ACCA and keen to learn and progress. Any experience within the publishing industry would be beneficial.
