Job description
A great opportunity has arisen to join the head office of this growing Leisure business. As an Accountant you will be reporting to the FC and managing a team of 4 Purchase Ledger Clerks. Key duties will include: controlling all the work for the Accounts Payable department; overseeing the posting of purchase ledger invoices; reconciling supplier statements; dealing with supplier queries; arranging BACS, CHAPS and cheque payments in sterling and currency; bank reconciliations; reviewing weekly payment runs; calculating weekly overheads to assist the FC with cost accounting and payroll liabilities. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified with relevant experience and staff management coupled with first rate Excel skills and ideally knowledge of Sage Line 50.
