Job description
A long established and successful business specialising in construction services to the Retail industry is seeking an Accountant with construction experience to join their head office in Docklands. The successful candidate must be part or a qualified Accountant with a sound knowledge of construction based accounting and the CIS scheme. You will be fully experienced using Excel, Word and Sage 50 Accounts. Previous experience using Sage Construction and systems implementation would be highly advantageous. The main responsibilities include: implementing Sage systems across the group; responsible for cash book, purchase ledger and subcontractor payment as well as CIS compliance and reporting; furthermore assisting in cash forecasting and management accounting and reconciliation processes; reviewing weekly wages produced by Sage Payroll. You will be supervising an Accounts Clerk and interact effectively at all levels internally and externally.
