Job description
We are currently working on behalf of a Manufacturing business based in Mansfield which is currently looking for an additional Head to join its Finance team within a budgeting and planning role. The business has recently been acquired by an American company which subsequently means additional reporting requirements and therefore a newly created role. You will be responsible for providing the management accounts, forecasting, standard costing, fixed assets, assisting with annual budgets and process/information improvement. The right candidate will be of exceptional calibre and either studying final stages or qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with experience of working in a manufacturing environment. This is going to suit someone who is motivated and wants to learn and improve as the business continues to develop. Due to new forecasting and budgeting requirements the client requires this person to have a good working knowledge of Excel and must have experience using Hyperion Essbase. This role is not for someone who wants to just do a job we are looking for someone who wants to challenge the current information and improve it and drive through cost efficiencies. You will also need to be ambitious and confident in your own ability to progress and work with the Management team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate at all levels as well as be actively studying a professional qualification. You will also need to have good experience within a similar role and although not a prerequisite it would be an advantage to have experience in a manufacturing business.
