Job description
This leading international Publishing House is one of the most prestigious and diverse publishers of its type with many market leaders amongst its titles. It is now looking for a part-qualified Accountant to provide financial and commercial support and information to the Senior Management of the Business unit. Specific areas of responsibility will include business performance reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, planning and the preparation of financial and commercial commentary for presentation at review meetings. This position is not a routine financial or management accounting role and has a strong commercial and analytical emphasis with high visibility amongst the Divisional Board. The ideal candidate will be an advanced Excel user, confident and comfortable in presenting data, verbally and in writing and be able to support a varied, demanding workload producing complex analytical information to strict deadlines.
