Job description
One of Peterborough's most prestigious businesses has an immediate need for an Accountant to cover a 9 month contract. Working for a multimillion-pound division of this widely recognised company, you will be responsible for a mixture of reporting and reconciliations with involvement in the occasional project. Key duties include: financial reporting of certain products within this division; production of weekly; monthly and periodic reports; reconciliation of all stock movements to the current system; reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts and coordination of forecasts and budget figures. The role will have interaction with a variety of Senior Managers, so strong communication skills are essential, along with a sound knowledge of Excel. An ACCA/CIMA accounting qualification is preferred but applicants with large company experience and no qualification will also be considered.
