Job description
An international business with its UK head office in Southampton requires an Accountant to take responsibility for the financial and management accounting for a number of UK and overseas trading entities. Key tasks include monthly accounts, liaison with UK transactions and payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of information, preparation of monthly control accounts and supporting documentation, maintenance of accounts month end file, compliance with consolidation requirements and the statutory accounts and corporate tax return coordination. Additional duties include ad hoc analysis and reporting and assisting in the quarterly review of significant revenue generating orders ensuring all support documentation is in place to meet revenue recognition criteria. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with good Excel and systems skills who is used to working in a fast-paced environment.
