An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client, a leading Healthcare business employing more than 46,000 people worldwide. Key responsibilities of the Accounting Manager job will include: ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley; perform financial analysis of balance sheet accounts to ensure compliance; prepare regular balance sheet reviews and variance analysis; maintain the financial ledger of the legal entities in compliance with local law/gap’s, tax codes; provide External Auditors with all required documents to support the annual statutory audit to ensure timely statutory filing in accordance with GE deadlines. The ideal Accounting Manager will possess the following attributes/skills: a proficiency in US GAAP and UK GAAP; advanced Excel skills; experience of working in a global business environment; strong analytical skills; confidence/assertiveness: strong influencing skills.
