Job description

Accounting Manager
Heathrow

The role is to be responsible for the Accounting process for the Ferrovial Agroman (UK) business.

Key responsibilities include:
  • To manage the Accounting team including appropriate resourcing levels, effective performance management, employee development and motivation.
  • To manage the Accounting process and company accounts for the business in line with monthly and annual reporting as well as compliance requirements.
  • To liaise with Internal/External Auditors.
  • To maintain and update the Ferrovial Agroman financial systems for the UK business in line with Group policies and processes.
  • To be responsible for dealing with the governmental authorities with regards to VAT, CIS and related matters.
  • To oversee the invoicing processes and systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers and third parties.
  • To be responsible for ensuring correct authorisations for all accounting and invoice related activities to guarantee appropriate financial controls.
  • Produce reports in time and manner required.

With ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent finance degree, you will be computer literate and able to work with predefined parameters and timescales to ensure all information is processed effectively. You will be self-motivated, with strong business acumen and highly organised with the ability to take on board new concepts and extract information from many sources. Excellent financial system skills are essential for this role and Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
