Job description

A PPP Investment company has an exciting opportunity to join the business as an Accounts Assistant. The organisation is a market leader in its field and has built its business based around long-term relationships between the investors and public sector. With over 100 assets worth a value of £1.3 billion, the organisation is now looking to grow further. The position is part of the business growth plans by aiming to provide its investors with a diverse portfolio of PPP mature funds. Your role will be based out of the Bath office and will involve working with, cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, generate sales invoices from contact information and other data sources. A key part of the role will be working with Sage200 bookkeeping, and you will be responsible for sales ledger and purchase ledger with emphasis on invoice entry, credit control, and supplier statement reconciliations. As part of working with Sage200, you will also be responsible for bank entries, month end journals and month end close as well as setting up all new clients onto the Sage200 system. Working with Excel and Sage MMS will be advantageous but not essential. The organisation is looking for a person who can work on their own within a team and who enjoys a challenge. As part of this role, you will be liaising with number different teams and Managers so you will need to be adaptable, have good organisation and communication skills.
