Job description
This prestigious multibillion-pound turnover business has an exciting newly-created opportunity for an Accounts Assistant. Working closely with the Divisional FC, the position ranges from overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable right through to budgeting, forecasting and management accounting. This position suits those who are educated to degree standard and have some financial grounding. Ideally, you will be a part-qualified Accountant and have a basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and reporting. The ability to communicate effectively is essential, as you will be working with a number of key staff across the business including a number of non-finance staff.
