Job description
A global Oil company with head offices in Central London is urgently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant with a working knowledge of SAP to join its busy Finance team on a 3-6 month contract basis with the potential for a permanent role after this time. The key responsibilities in this role will include: processing accounts payable invoices, dealing with urgent supplier queries and putting through payments; posting accruals and prepayments; general ledger coding; assisting with a systems changeover from Sun Accounts to SAP. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with working knowledge of SAP (essential); ideally you will hold a minimum of a 2:1 graded degree in a finance related subject and will be looking to progress into a management accounting role within the next 1-2 years. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and career minded candidate who meets the above criteria to engage in a challenging and supportive new role.
