Job description
Working for this well respected Professional Services Recruiter, you will be in a highly visible and responsible role dealing with a number of high profile accounts. This role will also offer opportunities for growth and development. Job description: assisting the Credit Controller in following up on unpaid invoices, including calling and emailing clients on a daily basis to ascertain payment dates; when issues arise with unpaid invoices, liaise with consultants to resolve the reason for non payment; liaison with overseas offices over unpaid invoices; sending out copy invoices and statements as required; reviewing UK bank statements and remittance advices on a daily basis and identifying receipts; bank reconciliations; including the follow-up of unidentified receipts with our bank and clients; liaison with five overseas offices on weekly basis to correctly identify and allocate receipts from bank statements; daily banking of cheques; recording all receipts in cashbooks; posting receipts for both UK and overseas companies in the accounting system on a daily basis. Skills & experience: ideal candidates will have previous sales ledger/accounts receivable/credit control experience; strong interpersonal skills are a must; candidates must have good attention to detail and a proactive approach to their work; experience of Excel and Word is essential; basic understanding of accounting transactions; good system skills are an advantage.
