Job description
Robert Half International is recruiting on behalf of a large Shipping company based in Liverpool City Centre for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. The role will involve the following duties: maintaining the purchase ledger, matching, batching and coding of invoices, reconciling supplier statements, maintaining the sales ledger, raising sales invoices and issuing credit notes, credit control responsibilities, chasing overdue debt and allocating cash, producing month end journals, bank reconciliations, maintaining the cash book and control account reconciliations. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Salary & benefits: the hourly rate is £9.00 per hour plus holiday pay.
