Job description
High profile name in the Media sector is seeking to strengthen its growing Accounts team with the addition of an Accounts Assistant to work alongside the FD and assist in the day to day management of the Accounts department. The successful individual will be of graduate calibre or equivalent, be at the early stages of the ACCA or CIMA qualifications and be seeking to build a strong accounting career. Your responsibilities will involve managing the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, producing VAT Returns, overseeing the Payroll and assisting in the preparation of Management Accounts. As you will be working closely with the FD there is the opportunity to gain further training and mentoring as you progress through your chosen qualification. Essentials include a grounding in accounting combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a desire to build a solid accounting career within the Media sector.
