Job description
An innovative and progressive resourcing specialist based in Oxford is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team on a part-time, temporary basis to assist in all areas of basic accounts. Main responsibilities will include costs and invoice processing, and posting onto the accounting system. The role may also involve control accounts, and other reconciliations depending on the aptitude of the candidate. General ad hoc financial administration will also be expected. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accounts environment and a good working knowledge of IT packages. You may also be working towards an accounting qualification such as AAT. A friendly and courteous manner, attention to detail and a willingness to ‘roll your sleeves up’ are essential.
