Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work for this well-established & respected company in the motoring industry. The role is a new position & the ideal candidate will have good all-round accounts experience & an in-depth knowledge of the nominal ledger. The company we represent would like a hardworking, focused & positive individual to be an available resource within the department & be able to work to tight deadlines. Someone that can get their head down when necessary, but be available to help others in the department when so required. Some of the responsibilities will be as follows: month end responsibilities; spreadsheet preparation; nominal account reconciliations; processing journals; variance reviews/investigation & reporting; pre-preparation of accounts; assisting with forecasts. Experience of Kerridge would be beneficial, but not essential, as Sage experience will help with understanding. The position would also suit someone with an eye for detail who can prioritise their workload, but does not mind getting their hands dirty. In return you will receive a salary of between £16-18,000 per annum, along with 22 days’ holiday plus stats. A number of motoring benefits will also be available after 6 months of service. The hours of work are 8.30am - 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch. On top of all of this, our client is willing to offer financial study support for the right person.
