Job description

A UK wide IT software provider based in Sheffield currently requires a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join its newly formed Accounts team. Working closely with the Management Accounts team, you will assist with a variety of duties. You will assist with monthly management accounts preparation for smaller subsidiary divisions to begin with. You’ll be assisting with statement reconciliations fixed asset register maintenance and other ad hoc project work. As your role and training continue to develop, you will undertake more complex duties and take a more senior position within the organisation. You will be a self-motivated and career-focused individual who is keen on developing a career in accounts. Providing, you have the right attitude and commitment your career could develop quite quickly as the business constantly seek to promote from within. Ideally, you will be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA qualification and have exposure to accounts preparation. Knowledge of SAP systems would also be extremely advantageous. Excellent starting salary, generous benefits and full study support make this an ideal role for any career minded Trainee Management Accountant.
