Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a market leading multinational Entertainment agency. We require someone who regards themselves as an organised, motivated and professional Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance department. Responsibilities: work closely with the FD assisting with driving the department forward as the company grows; code and process all employee expenses; code, process and post all accounts payable invoices on Navision; post weekly AP transactions from bank statements (multiple currencies); work with AP Supervisor to provide accurate quarterly accounts payable cash forecasting; assist AP Supervisor and Financial Accounting team with month and year end reporting; setting up and maintaining all relationships with contractors relating to the London office. Key competencies: demonstrable relevant practical accounting experience; CIMA/ACCA level 1 studier or equivalent; accounts payable experience, ideally gained within an international company; knowledge of intercompany transactions, VAT, foreign exchange; knowledge of intermediate Excel, Navision or similar accounting package preferable; good attention to detail is critical; good organisational, planning and time management skills; good communication skills are critical.
