Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large FMCG on a temporary basis. My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant/IT Finance Assistant to provide financial support and controls to the IT department, and to assist the IT Finance Manager in IT cost centre management. Key duties include: month end duties; working closely with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of invoices; allocating internal costs to projects; carrying out reconciliations of timesheets and transactions; monitoring all open purchase orders and assisting in accruals compilation. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of financial accounting and controls, along with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. This could be an opportunity to secure a long-term role.
